Ian Jones

Ian qualified as a solicitor in 1991. Ian is a consultant to the firm and was formerly a partner in and head of employment law in two commercial law firms in Birmingham.

Ian has more than 25 years’ experience advising and representing clients in employment law disputes and their resolution, and in non-contentious matters including the preparation of contracts, policies and procedures, restrictive covenants and the protection of confidential information.

Ian represents both employers and employees, senior executives and human resources departments. His cases range from small-scale disputes to large, high-value claims in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

Ian regularly appears as an advocate in Employment Tribunals throughout England and Wales.

Ian advises on changes in the law and best practice in following new and existing case-law and legislation.

Ian provides guidance on the law on a one-to-one basis, in seminars and lectures.
